Nicole is the owner and founder of WALK HIKE PLAY LLC. For the past nine years she has spent each day taking dogs on a variety of adventures and has loved every second of it. She began her professional career as an elementary school teacher. She spent many wonderful years in the classroom with her students, but while earning her masters degree in education she took some time off from the classroom to focus on school and picked up a job as a dog walker. She stumbled into her dream job and decided to pursue a career working with animals. Nicole is passionate about learning all about dog and animal psychology. She has had wonderful mentors in the field and is now a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. Most recently, in September 2018, she attended a 3 day workshop entitled "Student of the Dog" lead by Oregon Tails founder Jonathan Czinder. She strives everyday to be a calm and balanced leader for the WALK HIKE PLAY LLC pack. Nicole is certified in dog and cat first aid and CPR. WALK HIKE PLAY LLC is state and city licensed, insured, and bonded. On October 1, 2015 Walk Hike Play relocated from Los Angeles, California to Kirkland, Washington. Nicole, her rescue dog, Abby, and her husband, Dave, are thrilled to be part of the Kirkland community and thank you for supporting a small local business.

"Nicole is the best - don't hesitate to use her services. Nicole comes and walks our dog Kau several times a week. Sometimes it's a neighborhood walk, a park visit or a dog park visit. We never worry when Nicole is caring for him - she is always on time and extremely reliable. She sends both my husband and myself texts and photos indicating what they are doing including if he has done his business!! Kau loves her!! It is extremely hard to find someone who cares for your dog as much as you do, but Nicole does. She is a true animal lover. Thanks Nicole." - Jan K. - Kau's mom
"It is not possible to recommend Nicole highly enough. She has been taking my two dogs for walks, hikes, and adventures three days a week for more than two years. They adore her and her sweet Abby, as do I. To say she speaks dog is an understatement. My dogs have a yard, a dog door and outings with me on non-Nicole days. But Christmas morning comes three times a week, with dog friends. Nicole often sends pictures or videos, from the park or trail and always leaves a note of the day's events. People are surprised that my oldest is over 14. I credit exercise and social life with younger dogs. Nicole is supremely reliable and always willing to take them out on days when I can't. If she ever moved, I would have to move to that place." - Marcy S. - Jenny & Chase's mom
"My husband and I took a 10 day road trip and we were very nervous about leaving our precious fur-baby, Marley. She is a spoiled 6 year old cat. We heard about Nicole and sought out her petsitting services. We met with Nicole and instantly felt good about her, she was very warm. Nicole was also incredibly sweet with Marley and asked some really great questions. While on our trip we got the funniest text messages from 'Marley'. It was a very sweet gesture on Nicole's part to loan Marley her phone so that she could send us photos of her antics. We have continued to utilize her pet sitting services. I would recommend Nicole to anyone with fur-kids." - Adriana C. - Marley's mom
